Well the short answer is yes, but beware not all websites offering online surveys are created equal.

Online surveys are an increasingly popular way to earn extra cash, with really very little effort. Companies pay big bucks for market research, and your opinion as the consumer is important to them. You won't become a millionaire doing online surveys, but you can make some real money.

As mentioned not all websites offering surveys are created equal. There are two main things that I look out for when joining an online survey website.

Free or Fee? Some online surveys are free while others charge a joining fee. My philosophy is that I’m here to make a little money, not spend it so I steer away from websites that ask for money. I’ve checked out a few of these websites and there is no doubt that some are very slick operations, making some very big promises. So a word of caution if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Prizes: Cash, prizes, points, prize draws, gift cards are all offered as rewards for completing online surveys. I stick to survey companies that offer cash or points that you can convert into cash, as the reward for completing online surveys, you can’t beat cold hard cash. I steer clear of websites that offer you a chance in a draw to win a prize or cash, the chances of winning are small, so in the long run you are not rewarded for your efforts.
